Financial assistance in the form of Research grants is available, contingent upon individual circumstances and application volume.

What is a Research Grant?

A research grant, as offered by TMT Center, is a form of financial support provided to individuals or institutions conducting research within the fields of nursing, midwifery, and social care. These grants are intended to fund innovative research projects that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in healthcare. Whether it's investigating new treatment methods, exploring healthcare disparities, or studying the impact of social determinants of health, our research grants aim to support cutting-edge research initiatives that have the potential to improve patient outcomes and enhance the delivery of care.

Requirements

Eligibility for assistance grants extends to:

Current, former, or retired registered nurses, nursing associates, or midwives globally.

Internationally educated registered nurses or midwives intending to work in healthcare.

Healthcare support workers, maternity support workers, or apprentice nursing students with three or more years of experience in health and social care.

Here is what you will need

Prior to proceeding with your application, it is imperative to ensure that you have the requisite documents prepared for upload. This will facilitate a seamless and efficient submission process, ensuring that your application is processed in a timely manner.

Once you have all the required documentations , follow the steps down below

Include details about your academic background, qualifications, relevant experience, and any previous research projects or publications.

Please provide documentation demonstrating your employment as a nurse or midwife, worldwide. Additionally, include evidence of three years of service in a healthcare support role, such as a healthcare support worker, maternity support worker, or as a nursing student apprentice under nurse supervision

Please provide the last two months’ bank statements from all bank accounts held by you and, if applicable, your partner. Ensure that these statements display the following details:

  • Full name
  • Address
  • Complete account number
  • Sort code
  • Transactions
  • Running balance

 

Please note: If there are transactions between multiple accounts, statements for all involved accounts must be provided.

Provide a comprehensive overview of your research project, including its significance, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes or contributions to the medical field.

If applicable, please submit any required supporting documents, such as letters of recommendation, institutional approvals (e.g., ethics approval), curriculum vitae (CV), or letters of collaboration

**Grants typically require several weeks for assessment and disbursement, making them unsuitable for immediate financial needs. 

Following the initial review of your application and documentation, you may receive a request for additional information. Please carefully review all communication provided.
